Lyrics

JUST LIKE ME
by Shaun DeGraff

You there why are you crying? I've often wondered just who you are.
Inside I know your dying but it doesn't seem clear to me just what you long for.
You have this weight on your shoulders and you say you give away more than you receive. And time stinks of aromas of unventilated broken hearts disease.

But I. I am the strong one. It's such a pity you can't act more like me. I smile in radiant glory. Even when the story makes you fall to your knees. So why? Why are you crying? Man in the mirror you look just like me.

You hide in my effervescence beginning each day undetected you sleep.
But night is hardly delighting to blanket your anguish each time that you bleed.
You breath a vigorous silence falling into confusion onto the floor.
the world wants me to see them in black and white but your eyes see much more.

And if someone could uncover this elusive lover than you could be free.
But I just won't let that happen. i feed from the famine of insincerity.
So why? Why are you crying? Man in the mirror you look just like me.
